Step 2: Upon quote approval, we’ll create a virtual sample for you.
Step 3: Upon customer approval of virtual sample, we’ll start production.
Step 4: Production takes 4-6 business days and the order will be shipped once production has finished.
How long does an order take?
For blank hat orders, please allow 1 business day for our warehouse to process and ship. Tracking information will be provided once order has shipped.
For custom hat and embroidery orders, please allow 4-6 business days from virtual sample approval for order to be ready. Exact order timing will depend on the level of orders within warehouse and current production schedule.
What shipping services do you offer?
We ship primarily via UPS and USPS. We ship via UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air, and USPS Priority Mail. We can utilize customer shipping account #s for orders.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is based upon standard published UPS & USPS rates. Rates are determined by the location or zone the package is being shipped to and the dimensional weight of the package.
Can I change my order after it has been submitted?
Once an order has been sent to the embroidery department, all orders are final and no changes are able to be made. Please have your final specifications and design ready before production. Once items have been embroidered, the embroidery and stitching cannot be changed or undone – it is permanent.
How do I place an order?
Please email us at email@example.com with (1) hat styles/colors/quantities, (2) blank or custom, (3) logo file (if custom), and (4) shipping zip code. We respond to most requests within 1 business day and will email a quote.
How do I pay for my order?
We accept payments through PayPal and Stripe. We will send an electronic invoice once we’ve received and confirmed your order. Most major credit and debit cards are accepted including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept checks, but verification of funds and mailing time may delay the production process.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, we request that customers order at least a minimum of 1 dozen or 12 pieces for blank hats. For custom orders, we have a minimum of at least 20 hats.
How does your pricing work?
Due to the large selection of hats we carry, we are not able to list prices for every hat and/or quantity tier. We request that you please contact us to inquire regarding our latest pricing. Please have the product number, quantity, and colors you would like to order ready. Pricing may vary depending on specifications, stitch count, and colors. Pricing is subject to change at any time.
Can I receive a bulk discount or large order discount?
While most of our prices are listed at low, competitive bulk & wholesale prices, we do try to offer discounts for very high volume embroidery jobs and/or large orders. Please contact us with further details and we are more than happy to provide a free quote.
Can you match or beat a competitor’s embroidery price?
Yes, we will do our best to match or beat our competitors’ pricing. Please send us your written quote or estimate and we will beat it by up to 10%.
Can I use my own logo or design?
Yes, most of our customers use their own logo or design, often of their brand or company. The logo or design will need to be digitized in order to be made ready for embroidery. In order to start the process, email us your logo file to firstname.lastname@example.org
What can and cannot be embroidered?
Most logos can be embroidered as well as designs as long as there are not overly intricate and complex details. Details such as shadows and gradients cannot be embroidered properly in such a small area. Most fonts are acceptable as long as the size is sufficient (Cursive and other intricate fonts may not come out as clearly when embroidered). Due to the nature of the small area being worked with on a hat, the logo or design may need to be minimized and as a result, certain small details may come out looking compressed. Hat embroidery cannot sufficiently include all the details of a complex design on a screen-printed shirt for example.
*We assume that the customer has the full legal rights to the logo or design when accepting an embroidery order. We follow all copyright, trademark, and reproduction laws and as a result, will be held harmless by the purchaser for any damages and/or costs arising under these laws as a consequence of our use of the design or logo.
What is the minimum and maximum size of embroidery?
The area on most snapbacks and baseball caps for embroidery is approximately 2-2.5″ in height by 4-6″ in width. Beanies and knit caps can usually accommodate a 2″ in height by 5″ in width area.
Are all your hats in stock?
Most of our hats are carried in stock at our warehouse. We try to notify customers immediately if any of the hats ordered are currently out of stock or backordered. Hats, which we do not carry, may sometimes be special ordered for delivery within 2-3 business days.
Do you offer overseas embroidery?
Yes. The minimum for overseas embroidery is 24 dozen or 288 hats. While overseas embroidery may be slightly cost effective, it usually requires 60 days for delivery once the virtual sample has been approved. Please contact us for further information.
Do you have a damage allowance?
Yes, for custom embroidery orders, please allow up to 3% of order for items that may be damaged during production.
Which brand of hat do you recommend?
We currently stock AF, Decky, Flexfit, and Yupoong as our preferred hats. AF and Decky both provide good quality hats at reasonable prices. Flexfit and Yupoong are very good quality hats, but are more expensive. For hats that need to be the highest quality possible and best material, we recommend Flexfit and Yupoong. For many of our customers and companies, Academy Fits and Decky hats will work more than fine.
